As many of you know I left dA a while ago. I came back at the request of friends a few months ago to find that many had left. Lately I am beginning to see why!

For as long as I have been involved in Fractalling and had an account on dA I have been extremely pissed off by a bunch of self-appointed fractal police who seem to appoint themselves the gGod-given right to decide what constitutes fractal art. I will name some of these POLICE if I need to. Many of us know only too well who they are!

According to these IDIOTS Fractal ART needs to consist of Pure Fractals. Even by that definition some of the aforementioned fractal police themselves produce multi-layered fractal offerings, and upload them to the fractal art category!!! Therein lies the reason I used the word IDIOT. Ignorant they are too.

Go ask some of the purists what constitutes PURE fractal art and they will tell you it in a 1 layer fractal with a basoic colouring. Therefore 99.9% of the fractal art here on dA is not Fractal Art.

Once again people like ~VirusNO1 dropped in on my work Mean Streets:[link] and left a very unwelcome comment there. I invite you all to read it!

I have made a point here that if she was to do her self-appointed self-righteous Job properly she should indeed leave comments on just about all fractal work on dA, marbles etc... I even believe she had a go at them herself at one stage and failed miserably... no doubt the reason for this witchunt! If she were either an artist or a fractaller it might at least lend some kind of credibility to this nonsense, but she is neither and it does not.

She is a telentless artist at best and not much of a fractaller to boot. Hence the reason why I do not have her on my watch and have rarely commented on anything she does... and yet she feels she is qualified to tell me and others what constitutes fractal art!!! No F*cking Way!!!

If these closet cases feel so strongly about it, I suggest (as I have said many times) they either join a Math Site or else petition dA for a separate category for pure fractals (which amounts to math and not art!). It is down to losers like her that real fractal artists are going elsewhere...

What is it with Nerds? Must have been the lack of friends in school!!!

I have not written a journal in a long, long time but this one got my back up sufficiently!

On another note it is sad to see that :iconcmptwhz: seemingly resigned from his post as joing Gallery Director to concentrate on the Apophysis Group. This has left Fractallers without leadership and without anyone in charge who has any kind of appreciation for what fractal art is outside of Apophysis. Of all the Apohysis pieces I have seen here in nearly 3 years , maybe 1% of them could be considered Art!!! My opinion, but Apo engineers images. WIth UF and other applications you actually create art! I daresay without Dave in the hotseat a lot of fractallers walked in a motion of no confidence!
